03/10/2015 Laws and Rules; Life, Liberty and Prosperity: What are Big Ideas in this United States Democracy?

Life, Liberty and Prosperity: What’s the Big Idea?

A law is any written or positive rule or collection of rules prescribed under the authority of the state or nation, as by the people in its constitution.

A rule is one of a set of explicit or understood regulations or principles governing conduct within a particular activity or sphere.

A regulation is a law, rule, or directive made and maintained by an authority implemented through the action or process of regulating or being regulated.

Compliance is taking the action of enforcing a law, rule, regulation, or command.

Framing the Discussion:

Without any laws, rules, regulations, or compliance people would not be accountable, responsible, and culpable for their actions toward others (No common sense approaches to moral, ethical, or legal authorities will exist!).

When people live with laws, rules, regulations, or compliance we have a few that control and abuse people’s right to life (those in the military and citizens) without any consequences. Never forget this is about life and death decisions; there can be no excuses or forgiveness!

Logan Act:

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

I definitely think Speaker of the House Speaker John Boehner and the 47 Senators that signed the letter to Iran are criminals because they took actions that broke an act (law) of this nation.

Finally, if the President of the United States, Attorney General, U.S. Department of Justice, and all Elected Officials do not live up to their oaths of office to Support and Defend the Constitution for the United States and it’s laws, rules, or regulations with compliance enforcement; then there no legal basis for this county!
